Architect Philip Johnson coined the term International Style and became famous for his Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut. Known for his unconventional approaches to architecture, Johnson also designed the AT&T Headquarters (now the Sony Building) in New York City. July 8 is Johnson's birthday. He was born in 1906 and died in 2005.
