The Taj Mahal It took 20,000 workers 22 years to build the Taj Mahal. Pollution and environmental changes could pull it down in a flash. The wooden foundation of India's great marble mausoleum has become unstable.

The Taj Mahal has been on the World Monument Fund's Watch List since 1996. Some experts now say that without repairs, the landmark will collapse within the next few years.

And I thought I had problems with a sinking porch.
