Super Bowl Stadiums: Then and Now

I remember the first Super Bowl game in 1967. It wasn't called the Super Bowl back then. The LA Memorial Coliseum, site of the first Super Bowl, is a 1923 arena built with classical grandeur and named after the Colosseum in Romeâ€"no retractable roof on this historic landmark.

Sports architecture has come a long way since 1967! The Memorial Coliseum has been renovated for modern use, and some of today's most innovative design is that of stadiums and arenas.
